Hi there I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for viewing my web page.
This web page has all different type of pictures of my friends and me at parties, raves, fellow DJ's and then light shows. My real name is Alex but everyone who really knows me calls me LeX. I have been interested in DeeJaying ever since I was about 14 or so .... I was inspired by many DJ's such as DJ Clue, DJ Scrubbles, Funk Master Flex, and DJ Kid Capri. I can remember the fist consert I ever went too was up at F & M and I went to go see DJ Kid Capri ... I remember looking at him when I was 14 and saying "wow that seems like that would be an easy and fun job" well after the show was over I went up to him and was telling him that I really liked his music and what not ,, and then I started to ask about how I could become a DJ... and he was really open and he seemed to really like to talk about that. So ever since then I have been DJing.
I have been with many companites throught the years like Party Time DJ's, Laser Dome, Complete Music, and others . My companies have sent me to many DJ Conventions where I have participated in competitions just for the heck of it and there was this one time my Boss suprised me and we were up in NYC , which was one if the biggest DJ Conventions that I have ever been to ... he signed me up to compete ... and there was a total of 200 DJ's in the contest and I made it to 2nd place .. all of my friends and my boss were soooo suprised at my performance ... that night I got soo many job offers it wasn't even funny ...
I still remember when I first wanted to learn how to spinn. I am about 15 and I really wanted to learn how too ... well I made up my mind that I would teach myself how too spin... well I thought that it would have been easy .. but I was really wrong ... It was alot harder than it looks. Professionals make it look soo easy ...well now that I am 18 it is much easire .. but it took me about a total of like 4-5 months to actually have it down good .. so when I went to parties and school dances I would usually bring just bring 1 turntable with me. Now I bring 2 tables and 2 CD players so I can have some variety . I now spin Techno,Hip Hop, Dacne, Rap, R&B, and some Reaggae, and soon Progressive/Trance.
